Pinings: Dream a little dream

Dear Pinings,
I had a dream the other night. I had a very painful back injury and my doctor gave me one painkiller. (I’m a recovering drug addict and sometimes I have druggie dreams or drinking dreams). Anyway, I was in another city later that day (still in my dream) and my doctor told me he would get another painkiller to me via mail. Well, my pain started subsiding, and but I still felt as if I was owed another painkiller. At my hotel in this city, I received two packages: one was filled with cheeseburgers (6 of them) and another was filled with fish sandwiches (6 of them). Both packages were sent by men, who were handsome and sexy and both wanted me.
But in my dream, I was angry because I didn’t get any percocet from my doctor.
What do you think this means?

Dear Andi,
My first thought is that you have some mighty big appetites that need to be fed. Or maybe you are juggling your addictions …? Are you eating more as a way to stay away from drugs? Are there any love triangles going on in your life?
I’m not a dream expert, so I can’t tell you what they might mean.
But that dream is pretty whacked.
