The Easter Bunny brings dinner
On Sunday, let somebody else cook (and do the dishes)

Sure, you can cook a ham easily enough at home this Easter Sunday, March 23, but can you give your guests and yourself a chocolate fountain? A full pasta station? And do you have a waitstaff to clear the table while you engage in scintillating conversation?
These places can and do. (And their all-you-can-eat buffets might cost less than having Uncle Joe treat your kitchen like one.) If you’re looking for a dinner (from a late brunch to a sitdown meal) here are a few of the places serving up a special holiday meal.
Stonebridge Country Club, 161 Gorham Pond Road in Goffstown, will have an all-you-can-eat brunch buffet from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The menu will include such traditional items as French toast, scrambled eggs, home fries, bacon, sausage, muffins and breads, plus country ham, roast leg of lamb, haddock au gratin and chicken pot pie. The Red Blazer Restaurant and Pub, 72 Manchester St. in Concord, will have two buffets for the holiday. The dinner buffet runs from noon to 3:30 p.m. and serves lamb, roast ham, seafood Newburg, baked stuffed chicken with apple stuffing and gravy, and vegetable lasagna, plus many side dishes and a mini dessert buffet ($18.99 for adults, $11.99 for children ages 6 to 10). The Bedford Village Inn, 2 Olde Bedford Way in Bedford, will host both a holiday brunch buffet (from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.) and a four-course Easter dinner. The dinner will be served from 1 to 6:30 p.m. Some of the menu highlights include a Maine crab salad appetizer, an entrée of Colorado lamb loin au poivre or New Hampshire maple sugar cured ham, and coconut crème brulee or espresso mousse torte for dessert. Moe Joes Family Restaurant, 2175 Candia Road in Manchester, will have an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet (7 a.m. to 1 p.m.) and dinner (1 to 8 p.m.) For dinner, choose a ham meal with maple glazed sweet potatoes or a turkey meal with all the trimmings ($22.95 for adults). Commercial Street Fishery, 33 S. Commercial St., in Manchester, will be open on Easter Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. They will offer their regular menu plus a few specials. Call 296-0706 for reservations and see www.csfishery.com for a peek at the menu.

Common Man (305 DW Highway in Merrimack, 429-DINE; 88 Range Road in Windham, 898-0088; and 25 Water St. in Concord, 228-DINE; www.thecman.com) will offer special appetizers and entrees in its Merrimack and Windham restaurants and special buffet items in Concord, including a children’s buffet. The Aiport Diner on Brown Avenue in Manchester will also ofter some specials for lunch and dinner.
Makris Lobster & Steakhouse, 354 Sheep Davis Road in Concord (225-7665, www.eatalobster.com) actually kicks off its Easter offerings on Friday with a fish fry ($8.95). On Sunday, the restaurant will offer up an Easter buffet featuring lamb, haddock, ham and more. The buffet costs $17.95 per person.
