Rush...sometimes, you're just too funny for our own good...

You just never get tired of hearing him tear apart those liberals!  Like lambs to the slaughter, they line up in his phone bank waiting to be sliced, diced, and crucified.

One ringie-dingy……two ringie-dingy……three ringie-dingy……

Oops…….I meant one mega-dittos, two mega-dittos, three mega-dittos……….”Hello, and welcome to the Rush Limbaugh Show”.

They always start out by saying, “Rush it’s a real honor to talk to you”.  Then, they 'step-right-in-it'.

“Rush, I don’t understand why you think Clinton should have resigned from office.  Regardless of his personal short-comings, he was the best president of the 20th Century”.

The trap is set, but Rush lets his prey dangle a bit - “Tell me exactly why you say that about Clinton”?

The caller hadn’t expected a real dialogue with Rush and needed a minute to collect his thoughts.  And then the  stammering began.

“Well, you know, I mean, well, aah, I heard he did some great things, aah, let me think........oh yeah, what about the free health care we all get thanks to Hillary and Bill”.

I don’t want to bore you with the details of what-came-next.  You can fill in the blankety blank diatribe.

It took only five minutes to dissect and devastate the liberal.  Rush had left yet another leftie in the dust.  The vivisection was final and complete.

The arguments Rush made were clear, factual, derisive, and [at times] humorous.  I listened intently, and agreed more than disagreed.

But honestly Rush, you could have gotten your points across without resorting to the theatrics, name-calling, and people-pleasing-pyrotechnics.  I know you’ve made a fantastically successful career out of it.  You’re very, very, VERY good at it.

But, Rush, the truth is, “sometimes, you’re just too funny [and derisive] for our own good”.
