Goldenrod Restaurant and Drive-in: 1681 Candia Road, Manchester; 623-9469. Old-fashioned drive-up eatery with enclosed dining room; open year-round. The lines are long for a reason.

Magoo's Drive-in: 230 Mast Road, Goffstown; 497-4670. Cozy fry shack on the Goffstown Road. Opens on March 1, closes when a nearby tree turns bright red in the fall.
