Annula's Pizza & Deli: 525 Chestnut St., Manchester; 669-2005. Small neighborhood place with delicious food. Highlights include the lamb special on Thursdays and fish and chips on Friday.

Bertucci's Brick Oven Pizza: Mall of NH, Manchester; 668-6204. Known for their brick oven cooking and great food with fresh ingredients (dough, vegetables,) they also offer a variety of full-fledged dinner choices.

Brother's Pizza: 6 Willow St., Manchester; 668-7333. Comprehensive menu includes "everything except hot dogs" they say, and with reason. Best selling Greek dish: baked lamb. 

Brown Avenue House of Pizza and Pub: 2626 Brown Ave., Manchester; 623-2900. Closed Saturdays and Sundays. Simply good pizza - convenient if you're heading to or from the airport.

Caesario's Pizza and Subs: 1057 Elm St., Manchester; 669-8383. Closed Sundays. New York-style pizza served by friendly staff in a no-frills atmosphere. Huge, ever-changing menu; signature item is seasoned fries.

Chelby's Pizza & Subs: 284 Mammoth Road, Manchester; 669-4329. A tradition on Manchester's East Side for more than three decades.

Domino's Pizza: 212 Lowell St., 668-4701 (Downtown/North); 150 Amory St., 668-2252 (West Side); 91 Maple St. 647-4300 (South). Reliable source of very late night home delivery.

Front Street Waterfall Pizza Restaurant & Lounge: 554 Front St., Manchester; 623-0006. Italian dinners, fresh seafood & more. Taso's place. Closed Sunday.

Grand Slam Pizza Grill & Bar: 472 South Main St., Manchester; 622-5522. Pizza and full menu; many specials for students with college IDs. Filled with TVs.

Jimmy's House of Pizza: 345 Kelley St., Manchester; 669-3310. Closed Sundays. A standard-bearer on Manchester's West Side.

Luisa's Pizza: 19 South River Road, Bedford; 668-0581. Also 673 Hooksett Road, Manchester; 625-1331. Area favorite known for Italian home cooking, and especially for calzones. Huge portions of pasta and homemade sauce.

Luigi's Pizza Bar & Grille: 712 Valley St, Manchester; 622-1021. Pizza, salads, subs, burgers, and pasta, all prepared fresh to eat in or take out. Lots of choices.

Mako's Pizza: 850 East Industrial Park Drive, Manchester; 623-5550. Oasis of pizza in city's sprawling industrial park. For lunch try the "all-you-can-eat pizza buffet."

Papa John's: 1015 Elm St., Manchester; 645-7676. (A new place open on South Willow Street, too.) National chain back and newly established downtown. Careful with their garlic sauce; it's powerful stuff. Open until 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday. 

Pappy's Pizza: 1531 North Elm St., Manchester; 623-3131. Highly visible pizza palace operated by civic-minded Ron Pappas; popular items include the mushroom and pepperoni pizza and the chicken tenders dinner.

Perillo's: 55 Calef Road, Manchester; 624-1212. Closed Sundays. Nice neighborhood pizza joint serving the area of Lower Elm Street; known for their steak & cheese subs.

Pizza Express: Maple Valley Plaza, 245 Maple St., Manchester; 647-7885. Lively place tucked away in shopping plaza near Gill Stadium. Extensive menu, including unusual personal pizzas served on Syrian bread. Also, clam and scallop subs.

Pizza Mia: 460 Route 101, Bedford; 472-8878. Out-of-town place but worth traveling to for great and unusual pizzas and the honey Dijon chicken subs.

Pizzeria Uno Chicago Bar & Grill: 1875 South Willow St., Manchester; 647-8667. The Queen City's version of the popular national chain.

Sal's: 296 South Willow St., Manchester; 623-6565. Popular and reliable source of great pizza in the city's southern reaches.

Santoro's Pizza: 468 Union St., Manchester; 627-6666. Great traditional pizza house; the chicken broccoli ziti alfredo uses grilled chicken prepared with the owner's special marinade.

South Main Street House of Pizza: 194 South Main St., Manchester; 624-1699. Neighborhood pizza joint. Steak & cheese sub is their best-selling non-pizza item.

Souvlaki Pizza & Subs: 256 Bridge St., Manchester; 625-9354. Colorful personnel and delicious food highlight this no-frills Greek-oriented eatery. The pizza's good, too.

Times Square Pizza and Deli: 15 Pearl St. (corner of Elm), Manchester; 668-8463. New York-themed pizza parlor offers range of choices, from the classics to specialties like Mexican.

Zoey's Pizza & Calzones: 2160 Candia Road, Manchester; 666-7332. Popular with those way out on the far East Side. Best-selling dish is good old pepperoni pizza.
