Battle For Downtown
Concord, Manchester and Nashua keep pushing for urban success ? who?s building a better city?

Sure, there was a lull there for a while. Malls were invented. Highways were built. Suburbia became king. Millyards became empty. Up until about 60 years ago, downtown was the center of a community?s activities and resources. People could walk between work and shops and churches. In the 1990s, people started reinvesting in their downtowns and now Concord, Manchester and Nashua are thriving. Dedicated grassroots volunteers, forward-thinking city staff and electeds, an involved business community, civic-minded property owners and developers are behind the movement.

He?s just released his second album, Outta School, recorded at Rocking Horse Studio in Pittsfield. This happened to me with cold sesame noodles. Often called summer noodles, they are front and center now that the weather has turned warm.

Techie: Don't believe the hours

Anyone who?s ever owned a laptop for more than a few months knows that batteries don?t last forever.
Oh, sure, modern batteries have ?no memory effect? like in the bad old days, when your computer would figure the battery was completely charged whenever you unplugged it and never charge it past that point again. And with components engineered to draw less power, batteries do last longer than ever.
