Because there is so much more to literature than Harry Potter, and summer music doesn?t have to stop at The Beach Boys.
Summer is a great time for musical and literary adventures. When you head to the beach or the lake or the mountains, the thrill of vacation can spur you to seek out that perfect CD or pack that novel you?ve been hearing so much about.
So what are the best books and the best CDs for your summer experience?

People: From cars to refugee camps

Nick Talarico ? yes, of the car dealership Talaricos ? is deviating a bit from what his dad might have planned. After graduating from college in 2002, he worked for a little while at the dealerships, but sold his car and house to become the operations director of FORGE (www.forgenow.org), a nonprofit organization that sets up libraries and other services in refugee camps in Zambia.

In the next few weeks, New Hampshire will stock Manny Being Merlot, CaberKnuckle and Schilling Chardonnay, each priced between $11 to $13 a bottle.
